While this is not a "beginner" workout plan, it is excellent for those starting to add DOUBLE KETTLEBELL TRAINING into their routine.
There is no point trying doubles until you are proficient with single kettlebell exercises.

Why "PRECISION"?
Using two kettlebells at the same time needs to be precise.
This program is all about learning great form and implementing it over the long run.
DOUBLE KETTLEBELL PRECISION isn't a "bangin' and clangin' for Instagram" style program. Instead, I want to help you gain strength and endurance with incredible form.
DOUBLE KETTLEBELL PRECISION is a program that will require nearly constant tension. There are no Kettlebell Sport or GS style sets or form focus involved in this one like my other 'hybrid" programs.
I am a competitive KB sport athlete, and I use various types of lifting to give me the strength and endurance with kettlebells that I have developed over the past decade. Understanding different types of movements and styles, in my opinion, is what has made me a better, stronger, and safer lifter.
Adding another kettlebell at the same time adds focus and strength. There is no worry about bashing your fingers between a single kettlebell as there is with two.
I remember every single time that has happened to me in my career.
Thankfully it's few and far between.
That is what I want for you as well.
WHY DOUBLES?
Say you follow the internet's advice and jump from a 16 to a 24kg kettlebell.
However, that increase will overload your overhead work and not challenge your lower body that much. So instead, with this program, you add a match to that 16kg, and now, you are challenging your torso, lower body, focus, and skill with 32kg total! All the while quickly being able to handle the weight overhead with shoulders. Not to mention opening many more movements.
Over my training, I've seen too many kettlebell users jump ahead in weight before solidifying their ability to do so safely. A 16 to 24kg jump is a 50% increase in weight for overhead work. Think of jumping a 100 lb barbell to 150lbs for overhead presses.
Check out all the super-strong people that predominantly use kettlebells. I can guarantee that most of them build their strength using doubles and use doubles often. Even 2x32 kg kettlebells take up less space than a barbell and two 45 lb plates. I can tell you a 135 lb barbell is much easier to do exercises with than 2x32kg kettlebells.
HOW IT WORKS
This program is based on learning and strength building with double kettlebells and then adding different styles of conditioning exercises afterward. Except for Turkish Get-Ups, nearly every activity is done with a pair of kettlebells.
Some would be safe to use with offset weight, but I would only do that if you are proficient with kettlebell movements. For example, trying to do a push press with a 20kg and a 22kg would feel pretty good. However, trying to double snatch a 24kg and 32kg would not be.
DOUBLE KB PRECISION keeps basic exercises through each week. The progression is from more challenging versions of the movements and adding reps and sets. It is for multiple cycles. My goal is to teach you as well as increase your strength.
I want to MAKE YOU NEED HEAVIER KETTLEBELLS!
You will learn 25 Double kettlebell exercises and get conditioned with over 16 kettlebell circuits in the 4-week program.
The program is three days per week.
If you need to train four days a week, roll into the following week.
Example workouts A, B, C, and A again in the first week and B, C, A, and B in the second. So on and so forth.
On off days, work mobility or play outside. If you have to touch a kettlebell, do 1 TGU on each side for 10 minutes. If you are a stronger trainee and like TGU, do 1 TGU each minute, switching sides every 20 minutes.
Then play outside with your kids or your pets.
DOUBLE KB PRECISION can also be a prerequisite for my other plans, such as KBOMG 1 and 2, or a different phase between them.
DOUBLE KB PRECISION focuses on more straight sets and circuits vs. flows.
Why do you think you rarely see heavyweights used in "flow-based" kettlebell training? It's mostly about coordination, and those people have trained with kettlebells for a long time. They're primarily coaches and not newbies.
